The Sales and Experience Manager (AKA: CEM) reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Operations Manager, and General Manager for leadership. Client retention, smooth day-to-day operations, and marketing are your top priorities. Your position is a flexible and dynamic role with a primary focus to implement the right processes and practices across the organization, promote quality assurance across all operations, and to develop our marketing program to include campaigns, partnerships, social media, memberships, and organization. Ultimately, we must trust you to help us remain customer-experience-focused, policy-compliant, efficient, and profitable in the course of business.

  • The varied duties of the Customer Experience Manager include working with the operations manager to accomplish, not limited to, the following:
  • Formulating strategy, improving performance, selecting/procuring material, retail items, and resources.
  • You should be ready to mentor your team members, always find ways to increase quality of customer service and to implement best practices across all levels— from a leadership, and, management perspective.

General Responsibilities

Our successful CEM will coordinate and oversee the following:

  • Ensure all store operations are completed in accordance with established policy.
  • Report Cards are accurately filled out, signed by clients, and returned to clients with 1 extra flier upon checkout.
  • Ask all clients to do recurring appointments:
  • Send a list of clients that you book on recurring to COO with weekly inventory
  • Due no later than 5pm Saturday.
  • Verify and monitor company equipment to ensure proper function and presentability.
  • Improve management systems, processes, and best practices to result in operations support.
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally and established-policy-compliant.
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehousing and facility efficiency.
  • Coordinate Operations with Restaurant and Bar management.
  • Help the organization’s social media and online presence thrive with creative leadership.
  • Avert, mitigate, and/or escalate customer complaints in a professional, logical, and timely manner.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives to operate efficiently and for profit.
  • Examine industry standards, competitors, and financial KPI’s (financial data) to improve profitability.
  • Co/Manage with Operations Manager with marketing budgets and forecasts with leadership.
  • Perform quality control audits and monitor production to meet established brand standards.
  • Work with management to recruit, interview, and assist in hiring/training team members.
  • Manage operational areas to meet stringent cleanliness standards.
  • Store locations must always pass the visual “Window-test.”
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service experience.
  • Maintain an upselling/cross-selling and sales culture within all locations.
  • Projecting a positive public image within all locations; lead our Pack of groomers, trainers, marketers and front desk personnel in maintaining an atmosphere of cooperative teamwork that emphasizes guest service and overall (customer/partner) satisfaction.
  • Perform functions of marketing, community engagement, and brand ambassadorship.
  • Work with clientele to sell and deliver on Private Client (recurring appointments) services such as grooming/training/daycare/dental.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team during regular meetings regarding any initiative.

Communication (Due no later than 5pm each Saturday)

  • Send weekly update to ‘Full Management Group’
  • Weekly Inventory
  • List of clients who you have booked on recurring appointments
  • List of retail sales transactions
  • Unresolved issues

Schedule

Your shifts hours are based on need, but you can generally expect to initially work 10:45AM-5PM.

*You MUST provide at least 3-weeks’ notice for changes in your availability.

Compensation

  • $20+hr.
  • 10% Retail sales commission: including training/daycare and memberships.
  • 10% Sales commission for recurring training/daycare memberships.
  • 10% Of all Membership Dues:
  • 100% of any Tips you receive.

  • 10% employer paid for 1099 employees.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in event planning and management
  • Experience with planning and executing corporate events
  • Experience with fundraising events (a plus)
  • Experience with management software (a plus)
  • Must be available to work weekends (a plus)
  • Must have reliable transportation to West Hollywood, CA from home (a plus)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends (a plus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
